{"id":11567,"date":"2020-04-01T16:56:29","date_gmt":"2020-04-01T16:56:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marocchallenge.eu\/faq-items\/que-preparacion-necesita-el-vehiculo\/"},"modified":"2020-05-01T06:46:43","modified_gmt":"2020-05-01T06:46:43","slug":"what-preparation-does-my-vehicle-need","status":"publish","type":"avada_faq","link":"https:\/\/www.marocchallenge.com\/en\/faq-items\/what-preparation-does-my-vehicle-need\/","title":{"rendered":"What preparation does my vehicle need?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Preparation is up to you and aims to improve your vehicle&#8217;s resistance over rough terrain while respecting safety standards required by the Highway Code.<\/p>\n<p>At present we find all kinds of preparations in participants&#8217;\u00a0vehicles, from very professional and expensive adaptations to practically standard vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicles are grouped by categories depending on their displacement,<\/p>\n<p>There are editions, however, in which some categories have much more participation than others and vice versa.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, there is an essential minimum of modifications to guarantee vehicle safety.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For 4&#215;2 or 4&#215;4 utility vehicles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Protection for the sump and fuel hoses will most probably be necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Increasing ground clearance by means of reinforced springs and increasing spring diameter or adding extensions.<\/li>\n<li>If possible, increase ground clearance with higher tires than the original ones.<\/li>\n<li>Vehicles must have all necessary permits to be allowed on public roads.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For off-road vehicles:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For this type of vehicle there is no recommended minimum preparation, but:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A sump guard is always a recommendable precaution.<\/li>\n<li>Tires must be in good general condition and have a decent tread.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Preparation is up to you and aims to improve your<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"menu_order":0,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"faq_category":[63],"class_list":["post-11567","avada_faq","type-avada_faq","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","faq_category-vehiculo-conduccion-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>What preparation does my vehicle need?
