180 teams, record participation for this event, take on the winter challenge that will run from the 2nd of December till the 10th.<\/h2>\n

Everything is ready for the eighteenth edition of the Maroc Challenge to begin on Sunday. <\/strong>The event finally gets back on the road after a three year pause. The adrenaline is already flowing for our participants who on Friday, December 2 start off with the technical and administrative verifications in Almer\u00eda.<\/p>\n

This edition will be full of emotions and the eagerness to resume the adventure is reflected in the extraordinary number of inscriptions. The participation in this 18th edition will be a total success. 180 vehicles have signed up, which represents a record in the history of the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The teams will leave the port of Almer\u00eda on Saturday morning and disembark in Nador in the\u00a0 afternoon then tackle the long connection to Midelt, in the heart of the Atlas mountains, where on the morning of Sunday, 4th December, they will set out on the first stage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first day will be a mere appetiser of what to expect from Erfoud onwards, since this Maroc Challenge will have more sand and dunes than ever.<\/strong> In the following stages we will enter the dunes of Erg-Chebbi, Ouzina and Chegaga, passing through legendary places like the Ramlia fesh-fesh, the Sacred Oasis or Lake Iriki. On the way back, before reaching the Tendrara camp, we will cross the Rekkam Plateau, scene of great rivalries when the Dakar still crossed Africa. Sa\u00efdia, on the Mediterranean coast, will be the final destination where we will arrive on Friday, December 9.<\/p>\n

This edition will be unique, alternating many historical landscapes of the event with new ones that will allow participants to fully enjoy the adventure, driving and spirit that has characterised the Maroc throughout its eighteen previous editions.<\/p>\n
