Registrations for Winter 2025 are now open, and we’re excited to share the first details of an edition where sand and dunes will once again take centre stage.

The 24th edition of the Maroc Challenge, taking place from 28 November to 6 December, will start in Er-Rachidia, where administrative and technical checks will also be held, and will finish after six demanding and intense stages at the foot of the Erg Chebbi.

This edition will be desert-focused, with 100% off-road stages and minimal road links. The route will be renewed, combining new areas with iconic points from previous Maroc Challenge editions. From start to finish, sand and dunes will be the stars of the show.

The traditional bivouac, at the end of the third stage, will be located in Sidi Ali, near Lake Maider and the village of Tafraoute, close to Tissint, halfway between Zagora and Erfoud.

This will be one of the most adventurous and challenging editions of the Maroc Challenge—an unforgettable experience, as always when sand and dunes are involved. As usual, the level of difficulty will be adapted to each category, and this edition will bring some major updates.

To support the continued progression of our participants, Winter 2025 introduces four new categories: RAID C2, RAID C2 PRO, RAID C4 PRO and RAID TT PRO, designed for our most experienced teams.

All the information about these new categories, registration, and the best time periods to get the lowest rates is available on our website.
