Here at the Maroc Challenge we are working non stop and already preparing for the next Spring 2022, which we hope will be the definitive return to Morocco and which will be held over the traditional Easter Week, from April 8 to 16.

The provisional program has already been defined, but we must remind you that we are still pending the opening of maritime borders between Spain and Morocco, so for the first time in The Maroc we present you two provisional programs, one with departure from Spain, which would be ideal and our priority, and the other from France, which would take place only if the maritime borders with Spain remain closed. This second option would take place between April 7 and 19.

We are informing you of the possible programs as far in advance as possible, with the hope that you can arrange for the necessary time off to participate. You will notice that in the France program more days will be necessary, mainly because the ferry journey is much longer than crossing the Straits.

The Spring 2022 itinerary will include new features, some of the most outstanding being that it will start in Midelt and end in Saïdia, on the Mediterranean shore and the predominant route will be across the desert and some of the most remote areas of Morocco. We will travel from Midelt to Saidïa passing through such emblematic areas as Erfoud, Merzouga and Zagora. The now traditional bivouac night will take place in Tendrara, after the penultimate stage.
