A mere week after finishing the Reconnaissances, the routes for the upcoming Spring edition 2019 are ready, an edition remarkable for both its demanding itinerary and due to the fact that, for the first time in history, the Maroc Challenge will start off in Marrakech. The route will differ depending on which category you choose: Cars, Adventure or Raid category.
The city of one thousand and one nights, with its dazzling charm and frenetic activity, that make it one of the most spectacular cities in Morocco, will welcome us with open arms. The starting point of this edition will permit participants who can allow themselves a bit of free time to enjoy the charm of this imperial capital, which will host the official start of the race.
The route is very similar to the very popular Winter edition 2018, but with certain tweaks, certain improvements, a few new tracks and even more dunes to pander for the SUVs, especially those in the Raid category. We have decided, on the other hand, to increase the distances in some stages due to the longer days in April.
The starting point will be in Marrakech, in the early hours of Sunday, April 14th, where the verifications will be carried out on the previous evening, from here it will head towards such iconic cities as Zagora and Erfoud.
Mengoub is another highlight of the Spring 2019 since there, next to the Algerian border, a fantastic African style camp will be erected for us, this was already a huge success in the last edition. The event will end on the Mediterranean coast, beside the beach in Saïdia, with another great party to remember.
