The Maroc Challenge Winter Edition 2023 is taking shape and an organisation team will leave shortly for Morocco to begin the reconnaissance and wrap up the route for the upcoming adventure that will be held from December 1 to 9.

The challenge we have set ourselves for the next few days is to explore new areas and find new landscapes and mountain passes as alternatives to the event’s traditional routes, to keep up the spirit of improvement that has always characterised this event. As usual, the level of difficulty will be adapted to each individual category.

We can reveal up front the basic concept of this twentieth edition of the Maroc Challenge for you: The starting point will be in Ifrane, bringing back the exciting Atlas mountain range crossing, which is often quite intense in winter, followed by the bivouac in Talsint at the end of the second stage, that we will reach after navigating the always spectacular tracks across the  Rekkam Plateau.

From Talsint we continue on to Erfoud, where we will have our first taste of the sand and dunes. From Erfoud we will proceed to Zagora, followed by an intense return trip that will take us to Erg Chebbi and the long anticipated finishing line, where the prize ceremony will once again take place.
